Manufacturing Facilities

For the production of aerospace components that require advanced technologies, we have a variety of state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and equipment.

With advanced composite facilities and equipment among others, NIPPI supports the needs for the next generation aerospace components.
For manufacture of aerospace components, NIPPI has Auto-Riveter, 500ton Stretch Forming Machine, 5-axis NC drilling machine, large Autoclave and other up-to-date equipment to integrate design, assembly, and inspection. In 2011, we have introduced the latest composites manufacturing equipment to our Aerospace division to strengthen our capabilities of composites development and manufacture.

    Carries out accurate riveting automatically, coping with even complicated curved surfaces.

  • Hot press

    Makes deep-draw machining of difficult-to-process metals such as titanium alloy possible.

  • 5-axis NC profiler

    Makes exact shaving of smooth surfaces possible.

  • 5-axis NC drill

    Makes efficient and accurate drilling of composite materials possible.

  • 500t stretch
    forming machine

    The industry's largest stretch machine offering accurate bending.

  • Electron beam welding

    Enables deep yet narrow weld penetration while suppressing heat distortion.

  • Large-size autoclaves

    Enables cure for movable wings for large passenger aircraft.

Testing Facilities

NIPPI maintains test facilities to carry out many kings of evaluation to pursue safety and reliability of aerospace equipment.

NIPPI maintains various test facilities and performs adequate and accurate evaluation of the aerospace equipment, components and parts.

In order to evaluate aerospace equipment, components and parts in terms of performance, strength, and durability from various aspects, NIPPI has facilities to cope with various testing such as vibration and impact testing, wind-tunnel testing, strength testing, fatigue testing, high/low- temperature testing, electro-magnetic compatibility (EMC) testing, and complex testing.
